Bad Salad is the brain mash of three ladies with a lot of time on their hands and opinions dribbling out of their ears. Bad Salad was established as a by-women, for-women online magazine/virtual spittoon to talk about everything from music to sex, politics to Steve Buscemi – our official mascot.

Lily Rae is a small 22 year old Souf-Londoner who lives with her parents and has been known to sing for cash. Amateur roller-skater, expert haiku-maker and all-round toxic shrew. Ciara Burke is a 24 year old writer, procrastinator and fantasist from Ireland. She has written for Drunkenwerewolf Magazine, Little Episodes Publishing and had work published by Minus 9 Squared and Wordlegs. She has recently completed a Masters in Literature and Philosophy at The University of Sussex and enjoys writing about animals, goblin children, history and for extra hipster points, The Bible. Emy Sabic is a 26 year old, curly haired hotblood Swede. She is also a member of the arts collective Vi Värdelösa, which has published a collection of poetry and the brilliantly named literary zine Litzine. A graduate from The University of Sussex with an MA degree in Modern and Contemporary Literature, Culture and Thought, she enjoys handsome men, drinking gin, as well as ‘making it cosy’. Lydia Snodin is a 20 year old university undergraduate who prefers writing pointless articles about PMS to doing her equally pointless arts degree. Aside from that she enjoys the sound of Violent Femmes, the feel of high-quality knitwear and the taste of Mountain Dew. She would ideally like some sort of book deal as her student loan has run out.
